About the Role
Spokli is hiring an entry-level Admin & Accounts Assistant to join our remote team and provide essential administrative and accounting support during afternoon to evening hours. This full-time remote position offers an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in administration and finance to gain valuable experience while working from home. You'll be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and filing, managing accounts-related activities such as invoicing, expense tracking, and payment processing, and maintaining organized records of financial transactions and administrative documentation. Your role will involve coordinating with team members and external parties for smooth operations, assisting with bookkeeping tasks and reconciling accounts using accounting software, and preparing basic financial reports and summaries for management review. You'll handle email correspondence, schedule appointments, and manage calendars as needed, support payroll administration and vendor management activities, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn administrative and accounting processes while working independently in a remote environment during the specified shift hours.
What We're Looking For
We need an entry-level professional with a foundational understanding of administrative tasks and basic accounting principles who is ready to develop their skills in a practical work environment. You should have strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently without compromising accuracy. Basic knowledge of accounting concepts such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record-keeping is preferred, along with familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and Google Workspace is essential. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and clients. You must be comfortable working during afternoon to evening hours and have reliable internet access with your own computer setup. Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are crucial. A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Previous internship experience or exposure to administrative or accounting roles will be considered an advantage.
