Role Overview – DDT Software and Ecommerce is seeking a senior Azure AI Architect with deep hands-on expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, and Azure-based AI systems to architect, design, and deliver production-grade LLM and agentic solutions. This remote role requires 8+ years of experience and goes beyond development – it demands end-to-end ownership of solution design, delivery, and execution on Microsoft Azure. Important: This is an architect-led, ownership-driven role with milestone-based billing.

AI Solution Architecture and Design – You will architect, design, and oversee development of LLM-powered and agentic AI systems using LangChain and LangGraph, defining overall solution architectures, designing system components and interactions, creating technical specifications, establishing architectural patterns, ensuring scalability and maintainability, and delivering production-grade AI solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.

RAG Architecture Implementation – You will define and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures by designing retrieval mechanisms, integrating vector databases with LLMs, optimizing context retrieval strategies, implementing document chunking and embedding strategies, designing prompt engineering approaches, orchestrating retrieval and generation pipelines, and building effective RAG systems that enhance LLM accuracy and relevance.

Multi-Agent Workflows and Orchestration – You will architect multi-agent workflows and orchestration strategies on Azure using LangGraph and LangChain, design agent-based systems with specialized agents, implement agent communication and coordination protocols, orchestrate complex multi-step workflows, manage agent state and memory, design agent tool usage, and build sophisticated agentic AI systems that solve complex problems autonomously.

LLM Integration and Tool Connectivity – You will lead integration of LLMs with tools, APIs, vector databases, and enterprise data sources by designing integration architectures, implementing API connections, orchestrating tool calling and function execution, integrating with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, databases), managing data pipelines, ensuring secure data access, and creating comprehensive AI systems connected to organizational data and tools.

Azure AI Platform Architecture – You will architect and govern deployments using Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other Azure AI/ML services. You will design cloud-native architectures, implement scalable deployment patterns, optimize resource utilization, manage Azure infrastructure as code, and leverage Azure platform capabilities for robust AI solution delivery.

System Security and Governance – You will define system-level security, monitoring, scalability, and reliability standards by implementing security best practices, designing authentication and authorization mechanisms, ensuring data privacy and compliance, implementing monitoring and observability, defining SLAs and reliability targets, architecting for high availability, and establishing governance frameworks for AI systems.

Technical Leadership – You will provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams by mentoring developers and engineers, conducting architecture reviews, enforcing coding standards and best practices, providing technical direction on implementation approaches, resolving technical challenges, fostering technical excellence, and building engineering team capabilities.
