You should be proficient in advanced features including parametric families, schedules, phasing, design options, worksharing, and advanced modeling techniques. Understanding industry best practices, BIM standards, and project workflows to incorporate real-world scenarios into training sessions.
Training Methods – Using various training methods including instructor-led sessions, live demonstrations, hands-on exercises, screen sharing, recorded video tutorials, and self-paced learning modules. Adapting training style to accommodate different learning preferences and skill levels. Making complex concepts easy to understand through practical examples and real project scenarios.
Assessment and Feedback – Evaluating trainee progress through practical assignments, skill tests, and project-based assessments. Providing constructive feedback on work quality, identifying areas for improvement, and offering guidance on best practices. Conducting assessments to measure training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and practical application of learned skills in actual project work.
Individual Support – Providing one-on-one support and mentoring to trainees who need additional help or clarification on specific topics. Answering questions, troubleshooting software issues, and helping team members overcome challenges they face during project work. Being available for ongoing support even after formal training completion.
Continuous Learning – Staying updated with latest AutoCAD and Revit software updates, new features, plugins, and add-ons released by Autodesk. Following industry trends in BIM technology, emerging tools, and evolving best practices. Incorporating new techniques, shortcuts, and productivity tips into training programs to ensure content remains current and relevant.
Documentation – Maintaining training records including attendance, assessment scores, and skill progression of trainees. Creating and updating training documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practice guides that serve as reference materials for the team.
