Role Overview –INK IT Solutions is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Process Consultant for a short-term, high-impact remote engagement focused on improving Application Portfolio coverage and data quality. This position requires 5+ years of experience with project duration of 4-8 weeks and high probability of extension.

Process Consulting and Strategy – You will provide business process consulting expertise to understand client application management processes, analyze current state workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, recommend optimization strategies, design future state processes, implement process changes, and guide clients toward ServiceNow best practices for application portfolio management.

ServiceNow CSDM Implementation – You will implement Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework for application data, configure Business Applications table according to CSDM standards, establish proper CI relationships, ensure data modeling aligns with ServiceNow best practices, design sustainable CMDB structures, and create scalable application data architectures.

Application Portfolio Analysis – You will analyze multiple application data sources within the client environment, review application inventories across systems, assess portfolio completeness, identify data gaps, evaluate application lifecycle status, rationalize application naming, and provide strategic insights on application portfolio coverage and quality.

Client Workshop Leadership – You will lead client workshops and facilitation sessions, engage with IT leaders and business stakeholders, present findings and recommendations, facilitate decision-making on data standards, build consensus on process improvements, translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions, and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

ITOM and CMDB Expertise – You will leverage ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities, apply CMDB best practices, configure application discovery, implement configuration management processes, optimize CMDB data quality, and ensure robust foundation for IT service management and operations.

Stakeholder Engagement – You will conduct SME interviews with application owners and technical teams, gather business requirements, understand stakeholder needs, facilitate requirements workshops, document business processes, map stakeholder expectations to solutions, and maintain strong relationships throughout the engagement.

Solution Design and Implementation – You will translate business requirements into ServiceNow configurations, design application data models, create workflow solutions, develop reporting and dashboards, implement data governance frameworks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives while following ServiceNow best practices.

Agile Methodology – You will work within Agile/Scrum frameworks, participate in sprint planning, deliver iterative solutions, adapt to changing requirements, collaborate in cross-functional teams, maintain sprint velocity, and ensure continuous delivery of value throughout the engagement.
