Cloud Disaster Recovery Operations:

Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based disaster recovery solutions according to business requirements. Support disaster recovery strategies for critical applications, systems, and data. Monitor cloud environments and identify potential risks that could affect system availability or recovery. Maintain recovery configurations and ensure disaster recovery processes remain operational. Assist with improving the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of cloud recovery environments. Document disaster recovery configurations, procedures, and technical processes.

Backup & Recovery Management:

Manage and monitor cloud backup and recovery processes for critical systems and data. Verify that backups are completed successfully and remain available for recovery when required. Investigate backup failures and coordinate appropriate corrective actions. Support data restoration activities during recovery exercises or actual incidents. Maintain accurate records of backup schedules, recovery activities, and related technical information. Help identify opportunities to improve backup efficiency and recovery readiness.

Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing:

Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures and recovery documentation. Participate in regular disaster recovery testing and validation exercises. Test recovery processes to identify potential gaps or technical issues. Document test results, findings, and recommended improvements. Support the implementation of corrective actions identified during recovery testing. Help ensure recovery procedures remain aligned with changing systems and business requirements.

Cloud Infrastructure Support:

Support cloud infrastructure components associated with disaster recovery and business continuity. Monitor system availability, performance, and recovery-related configurations. Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues that may affect recovery operations. Assist with cloud resource configuration and optimization where required. Coordinate with technical teams during infrastructure changes and recovery activities. Maintain clear technical documentation for cloud disaster recovery environments.

Incident Response & Recovery:

Provide technical support during system outages, service disruptions, and recovery events. Follow established disaster recovery procedures during incidents. Assist with restoring systems and applications according to defined recovery priorities. Investigate recovery-related issues and contribute to root-cause analysis. Communicate technical updates and recovery progress to relevant stakeholders. Participate in post-incident reviews and help identify improvements to recovery processes.

Remote Collaboration & Technical Support:

Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, development, and other technical teams remotely. Participate in technical discussions, recovery planning sessions, testing activities, and incident reviews. Communicate technical information clearly to relevant stakeholders. Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting agreed deadlines. Maintain organized technical records and provide timely updates on ongoing work. Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud disaster recovery practices.
