Role Overview – EPAM Systems is hiring a Consultant, Data Analytics for a full-time, fully remote position serving clients across Canada. This position is ideal for experienced data analytics professionals with strong analytical expertise, business intelligence capabilities, and the ability to design analytics solutions, conduct data analysis, provide strategic recommendations, and drive business value through data-driven insights within a global technology consulting environment.

Data Analytics Strategy and Consulting – You will provide data analytics strategy and consulting by assessing client analytics needs and challenges, defining analytics roadmaps and strategies, recommending analytics solutions and approaches, designing data analytics frameworks, conducting analytics maturity assessments, identifying opportunities to leverage data for business value, and delivering expert consulting that transforms data into actionable business insights.

Data Analysis and Business Intelligence – You will conduct data analysis by analyzing complex datasets and business data, performing exploratory data analysis and pattern identification, conducting statistical analysis and hypothesis testing, creating data models and analytical frameworks, interpreting analytics results, providing business context and interpretation, and delivering comprehensive data insights that support decision-making.

Analytics Solution Design and Implementation – You will design and support implementation of analytics solutions by defining analytics requirements and specifications, designing data pipelines and ETL processes, recommending analytics platforms and tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.), coordinating solution architecture with technical teams, supporting implementation and deployment, ensuring solution effectiveness, and delivering robust analytics solutions.

Business Intelligence and Reporting – You will develop business intelligence and reporting by designing analytics dashboards and reports, developing KPI frameworks and performance metrics, creating executive dashboards and scorecards, building automated reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness, supporting self-service analytics capabilities, and providing transparent business intelligence for informed decision-making.

Data Visualization and Storytelling – You will create data visualizations and tell data stories by visualizing complex data in intuitive, actionable formats, designing compelling data presentations, communicating insights through effective storytelling, preparing executive presentations and findings, translating technical analyses into business language, engaging stakeholders through visualization, and ensuring data insights drive action.

Statistical Analysis and Advanced Analytics – You will conduct statistical analysis by applying statistical methods and techniques, performing regression analysis, conducting forecasting and predictive modeling, analyzing trends and correlations, testing hypotheses and assumptions, interpreting statistical findings, coordinating with data science teams on advanced analytics, and providing rigorous analytical foundation for recommendations.
