Role Overview – MindBrain is hiring a DevOps Engineer specializing in Salesforce with 6+ years of experience for a remote position. This role is ideal for experts who can define and manage Salesforce DevOps strategy, build CI/CD pipelines, manage release operations, and drive scalable DevOps practices across the Salesforce ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Industry Cloud.

Salesforce DevOps Strategy – You will define and manage Salesforce DevOps strategy, establishing best practices, defining standards, creating governance frameworks, implementing automation approaches, and building the strategic foundation for efficient, reliable, and scalable Salesforce development and deployment operations.

CI/CD Pipeline Development – You will build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Flosum. Your pipeline development enables automated builds, testing, deployments, and releases that reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and accelerate delivery of Salesforce enhancements.

Version Control and Branching Strategy – You will manage Git repositories, define branching strategies, establish merge workflows, implement code review processes, and ensure version control best practices that support collaboration, code quality, and organized development across distributed Salesforce teams.

Release and Environment Management – You will manage release processes and environment strategies including sandbox management, environment promotion paths, release planning, deployment scheduling, rollback procedures, and ensuring organized progression from development through production environments.

Metadata and Data Deployments – You will orchestrate metadata and data deployments across Salesforce environments including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Salesforce CPQ configurations, custom objects, validation rules, and other Salesforce components. Your deployment expertise ensures configurations move smoothly between environments.

Salesforce Ecosystem Experience – You will leverage your experience across the Salesforce ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), and Industry Cloud solutions. Broad Salesforce knowledge enables you to handle DevOps for diverse Salesforce implementations and understand deployment implications across different clouds.

Automation and Tooling – You will implement automation for testing, deployment validation, environment refresh, data management, and other DevOps activities. Your automation reduces manual work, increases consistency, and enables faster, more reliable release cycles.

Collaboration and Support – You will collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, business analysts, and project teams to support development workflows, resolve deployment issues, optimize processes, and ensure DevOps practices enable efficient Salesforce delivery.

DevOps Experience – 6+ years of experience in DevOps, specifically with Salesforce DevOps, is required. Your substantial experience demonstrates expertise in managing Salesforce development operations, release management, and implementing DevOps best practices in Salesforce environments.
