Job Description
Role Overview Valorie House is seeking an experienced and organized HR Manager to oversee key human resources activities in a part-time remote capacity. The role involves supporting recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, policy coordination, performance management, and maintaining effective people processes. The ideal candidate should be approachable, well-organized, confident in handling sensitive employee matters, and able to work independently within a remote environment.
HR Operations manage day-to-day HR activities and maintain organized employee records. Coordinate HR processes in line with company policies and procedures. Prepare HR documentation, reports, letters, and employee communications. Ensure HR tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition coordinate recruitment activities for current and upcoming vacancies. Review applications and support candidate screening and shortlisting. Arrange interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Support onboarding activities for new employees.
Employee Relations act as a professional point of contact for employee HR-related queries. Support the resolution of workplace concerns and employee issues. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information. Promote clear, respectful, and professional workplace communication.
Performance & Development support performance review and employee development processes. Assist managers with employee performance documentation and follow-ups. Help identify training and development requirements. Maintain appropriate records of employee development activities.
HR Policies & Procedures assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and internal procedures. Ensure employees receive relevant HR information and documentation. Support consistent application of company policies across the organization. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
HR Administration & Records maintain accurate employee files and HR databases. Monitor attendance, leave, and other relevant employee information. Prepare routine HR reports and documentation for management. Ensure HR records remain organized, accurate, and confidential.
Remote Team Support maintain effective communication with employees and management while working remotely. Coordinate HR activities using digital communication and collaboration tools. Manage priorities independently and meet agreed deadlines. Provide timely updates on ongoing HR matters.
Management Support provide management with HR-related information and administrative support. Assist with workforce planning and organizational requirements. Provide practical HR guidance on routine employee matters. Contribute to improving HR processes as the organization develops.
