This role is ideal for experienced professionals with proven expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System, strong technical and functional knowledge, implementation experience, and the ability to design, configure, deploy, and support Sterling OMS solutions for enterprise clients.

Sterling OMS Implementation and Configuration

Lead Sterling OMS implementation and configuration by analyzing business requirements, designing order management solutions, configuring system modules, customizing workflows, implementing order orchestration logic, and deploying comprehensive OMS solutions that meet client needs.

Solution Design and Architecture

Design solution architecture by understanding client order management processes, defining technical architecture, creating integration designs, establishing best practices, planning system configurations, and developing comprehensive OMS solutions aligned with business objectives.

Business Process Analysis

Analyze business processes by gathering requirements from clients, understanding order fulfillment workflows, identifying pain points, mapping current and future state processes, and translating business needs into Sterling OMS configurations and customizations.

System Configuration and Customization

Configure and customize Sterling OMS by setting up order pipeline configurations, defining fulfillment rules, configuring inventory management, customizing user interfaces, implementing business rules, and tailoring the system to specific client requirements.

Integration Development

Develop integrations by connecting Sterling OMS with external systems including ERP, WMS, payment gateways, shipping carriers, e-commerce platforms, and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

Technical Development

Perform technical development by creating custom services, developing extensions, writing Java code for customizations, implementing APIs, building custom agents, and enhancing Sterling OMS functionality through technical implementations.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Conduct testing and quality assurance by developing test scenarios, performing unit testing, conducting integration testing, validating configurations, identifying and resolving defects, and ensuring solution quality before deployment.
