Role Overview – Adept Consultants is hiring Map Rating Evaluators to review and rate map search results based on relevance and accuracy. This remote position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to understand local languages (Odia or Punjabi) and map information.

Map Search Evaluation – You will review map search results and provide accurate ratings based on predefined criteria. Evaluating the quality, relevance, and usefulness of map information displayed in search results will be your primary responsibility.

Relevance Assessment – Evaluating the relevance and correctness of displayed information is crucial. You will assess whether search results accurately match user queries and whether location information, business details, and map data are correct and up-to-date.

Guidelines and Deadlines – Following project guidelines strictly and completing assigned tasks on time is essential. You will work according to specific evaluation criteria, quality standards, and productivity targets set by the project.

System Data Entry – Entering ratings and brief comments in the evaluation system as required will be part of your daily tasks. Clear and concise feedback helps improve map search quality and overall user experience.

Language Proficiency – Working knowledge of Odia or Punjabi (reading and understanding) is mandatory for this role. You should be able to read and comprehend content in these languages to evaluate local search results accurately.

English Knowledge – Strong English knowledge (reading and comprehension) is required for understanding evaluation guidelines, project instructions, and communicating with the team. You should be comfortable reading and following detailed instructions in English.

Attention to Detail – Good attention to detail and observation skills are crucial for identifying inaccuracies in map data. You should be able to spot errors, inconsistencies, or irrelevant information in search results efficiently.

Technical Skills – Basic computer and internet navigation skills are necessary. You should be comfortable using web-based tools, entering data in systems, and navigating different websites and applications smoothly.

Independent Work – The ability to follow instructions and work independently in a remote environment is essential. You should be self-motivated, manage your time effectively, and maintain productivity without constant supervision.

Preferred Qualifications – Prior mapping or map-rating experience will be considered an advantage. Experience in data annotation, online evaluation tasks, or familiarity with map and navigation applications will help you excel in this role.
