About the Role

WeSearch Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced Mendix Operator with 5+ years of expertise to manage and optimize Mendix application environments in a fully remote capacity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to leverage their technical knowledge of the Mendix platform and cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless application operations. You'll be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining Mendix applications across private cloud environments using Kubernetes-native automation tools and the Mendix Operator component. Your role will involve provisioning and configuring application resources to support development, testing, and production environments efficiently, building and deploying Mendix applications through automated pipelines while ensuring version control and release management best practices. You'll scale applications dynamically based on performance metrics, user demand, and business requirements to maintain optimal performance and availability, implement and manage comprehensive backup and recovery processes to protect critical application data and ensure business continuity. You'll monitor application health, performance metrics, and infrastructure utilization using monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot deployment failures, configuration problems, and performance bottlenecks in Mendix environments systematically. You'll collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture, improve deployment workflows, and reduce time-to-market for new features, configure and maintain security protocols, access controls, and compliance requirements for Mendix applications.

What We're Looking For

We need a Mendix Operator with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the Mendix low-code platform, including application development, deployment, and operations. You must have expert-level proficiency with the Mendix Operator component for automating application management in Kubernetes environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong experience with Kubernetes is essential, covering cluster management, pod orchestration, services, deployments, persistent volumes, and container networking concepts. Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is required, including compute services, storage solutions, networking, and security configurations. The ideal candidate has practical experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for automating build and deployment pipelines. Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is necessary. Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog for tracking application performance and infrastructure health is essential. Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies, including automated backup solutions and restoration procedures for business continuity is required.
