At ICON Future Technologies, we are building the technical architecture to run these markets, and we are looking for a Programme Architect who understands that infrastructure is not just about technology—it is about trust, speed, and the ability to move value across complex financial networks with precision.

The Programme Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing the architectural vision for ICON's tokenised financial market infrastructure. That means creating the technical frameworks that will underpin transaction processing, data management, and the movement of capital across tokenised financial systems. You will work at the intersection of financial markets and technology, ensuring that the systems you design are secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. You will lead technical discussions with internal teams, external partners, and potentially regulators, translating complex requirements into clear architectural decisions. You will also contribute to the strategic direction of the company, helping shape the long-term technical roadmap for a new generation of financial infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial systems architecture, with a deep understanding of settlement systems, transaction processing, and the regulatory environment that governs financial markets. You understand the challenges of interoperability—the ability for different systems and networks to work together seamlessly—and you have ideas about how to solve them. You are comfortable working in a remote, Australia-based team and can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are excited by the prospect of building something new in a rapidly evolving space, and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed. Experience with tokenised assets, digital securities, or programmable finance is a strong advantage.

This is a full-time, 100% remote role open to candidates based in Australia with the legal right to work. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
