Palmira Software House, a Dubai-based digital transformation consultancy founded in 2014, is looking for a QA Engineer who understands that building reliable software is not just about finding bugs. It is about ensuring that every product meets the standard the business depends on.

This is a fully remote role for a QA professional who has spent at least five years in Agile and Scrum environments and knows how to design, plan, and execute testing that actually catches what matters. You will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, create detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases, and estimate, prioritise, and coordinate testing activities. You will identify, document, and track defects, perform regression testing following fixes, and develop testing processes for new and existing products. You will also design and execute automation testing scripts using open-source tools, monitor debugging results, and track QA metrics including defect densities and open defect counts. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and internal teams will be central to your work.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in software quality assurance and software development, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. You have hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing, automated testing tools, and performance or security testing. Arabic language proficiency is required. Experience using AI tools is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
