Role Overview – iPlaceUSA Inc is hiring a QA Manual Tester for a full-time, fully remote position based in the United States. This position is ideal for detail-oriented quality assurance professionals with strong testing expertise, software quality knowledge, and the ability to execute test cases, identify defects, ensure software quality, and deliver thorough quality assurance within a software development environment.

Test Case Development and Execution – You will develop and execute test cases by creating comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on requirements and specifications, executing test cases systematically and thoroughly, verifying expected versus actual results, documenting test execution and outcomes, tracking test case status and progress, maintaining organized test case repositories, ensuring complete test coverage, and supporting quality validation through structured testing.

Manual Software Testing and Verification – You will perform manual software testing by conducting functional testing of software applications and features, verifying application functionality against requirements, testing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), validating data integrity and processing, performing compatibility testing across environments and browsers, executing exploratory testing to identify edge cases, and ensuring comprehensive software quality verification.

Defect Identification and Bug Reporting – You will identify defects and report bugs by detecting software defects and quality issues during testing, documenting bugs with comprehensive information and reproduction steps, including screenshots and logs in bug reports, assessing defect severity and priority, reporting bugs through tracking systems, providing clear, actionable bug reports, supporting developers in defect reproduction, and contributing to quality improvement through thorough defect identification.

Regression Testing and Verification – You will perform regression testing by executing regression test suites after code changes and updates, verifying that fixes don't introduce new issues, testing impacted functionality and related features, ensuring quality consistency across releases, documenting regression test results, tracking regression defects, and maintaining application stability through thorough regression testing.

Test Environment Setup and Management – You will manage test environments by preparing test environments and systems for testing activities, configuring test data and conditions, resetting environments between test cycles, troubleshooting environment issues, coordinating with technical teams on environment setup, documenting environment configurations, and ensuring proper test environment management for effective testing.
