Job Description

Every candidate who enters the recruitment pipeline is a person with a career, a family, and a future. The difference between a good recruitment process and a great one is whether that person feels supported from the first application to the first day on the job. Rafah Healthcare, a CQC-registered care provider operating across the UK, is looking for a Recruitment & Compliance Officer who understands that compliance is not just about ticking boxes. It is about making sure every candidate is ready, every document is in order, and no one gets lost in the pipeline.

This is a role for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident managing candidates from application through to onboarding. You will own the entire candidate journey, from screening and interviews through to conditional offers and deployment. You will chase outstanding documents, references, DBS checks, Right to Work evidence, and mandatory training. You will maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate records, deadlines, and action points. You will coordinate contracts, onboarding documentation, induction, and training. You will liaise with Operations to ensure compliant candidates are ready for deployment, monitor recruitment progress, identify stalled candidates, and escalate issues promptly. You will also provide clear pipeline updates and maintain audit-ready candidate files.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of healthcare experience, one year of office or administrative experience, one year of remote working experience, one year of experience working with UK companies, and one year of Microsoft Office experience. You have strong written and spoken English, excellent organisation and follow-up skills, and confidence managing multiple candidates and deadlines independently. A fully functional computer and reliable Wi-Fi are essential. You must be able to connect to a UK WhatsApp number and be available to work UK business hours and provide on-call cover at least one weekend per month. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience in healthcare recruitment, compliance, HR administration, or regulated services is an advantage.

This is a full-time, remote position working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM UK time, with on-call cover required at least one weekend per month. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

To apply:
Send your CV to recruiter@rafahrecruitment.net
When you apply, take a moment to make your application stand out. Highlight your healthcare experience specifically, including the types of roles you have recruited for or supported, because healthcare recruitment has unique compliance requirements and the hiring team will look for evidence that you understand them. In your cover letter, describe how you manage multiple candidates with different deadlines without letting anyone slip through the cracks, showing your organisational skills and your ability to take ownership. If you have experience with DBS checks, Right to Work evidence, or mandatory training coordination, mention that clearly, as it is central to this role. If you have worked remotely before and are comfortable with the discipline that requires, state that explicitly, because the role is fully remote and self-management is essential. Finally, confirm your availability to work UK hours and your willingness to provide on-call weekend cover, as these are practical requirements. If you have a quiet home office setup and reliable internet, mention that too, because clear communication is critical in a remote compliance role.
Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone in your network who might be a strong fit.
