Public Outreach is looking for natural communicators who love connecting with people and making a meaningful impact to join its team of Remote Phone Fundraisers. As one of Canada's leading integrated fundraising agencies, trusted by partners including UNICEF Canada, Oxfam Canada, Amnesty International, and the Canadian Red Cross, Public Outreach has been connecting ordinary people with extraordinary causes since 2002. This is a purpose-driven, salary-based role with no cold calling and no commissions, where every conversation you have is with someone who has already shown interest in one of Public Outreach's charity partners working in humanitarian aid, environmental protection, and social justice.

In this role, you will speak with supporters who are passionate about social causes, inspire them to become long-term monthly donors, and use empathy, storytelling, and persuasion to support vital charity work in a way that feels genuinely human. You will participate in ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development, and collaborate with a high-performance, supportive team committed to making fundraising feel meaningful for both donors and fundraisers alike.

The ideal candidate is a clear, confident English speaker, with bilingual French and English ability considered a strong bonus. You are goal-oriented, coachable, resilient, and empathetic, comfortable with technology and structured remote work, and energised by storytelling and connecting with others. You will need a desktop or laptop running Windows 11 or newer, a stable internet connection capable of supporting real-time voice communication with wired Ethernet preferred, a wired headset with microphone, and a quiet, dedicated workspace. Please note that MacBooks are not compatible with the current system.

Public Outreach offers a salary-based position starting at CAD 19 per hour with pay increasing based on hours, performance, and consistency up to CAD 24 per hour, consistent hours of 32 to 40 hours per week, benefits after six months including an Employee Assistance Programme and paid time off, coaching, mentorship, and leadership development, and a clear growth path with performance-based rewards in an inclusive, supportive team culture.
