Job Description

Role Overview – Comforte AG is hiring a Senior Account Executive for a full-time, remote position serving USA-based operations. This position is ideal for experienced sales professionals with strong account management expertise, technology sector knowledge, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively, identify growth opportunities, close deals successfully, manage sales pipelines, and drive revenue growth within a dynamic software and data security environment.

Account Management and Relationship Building – You will manage assigned accounts by developing strong client relationships, understanding customer needs and business objectives, and serving as the primary point of contact. You will regularly engage with clients, conduct business reviews, and build partnerships that drive long-term customer success and retention.

Sales Opportunity Identification and Development – You will identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts by analyzing customer usage patterns, understanding expansion potential, and recognizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You will develop opportunity plans and work with internal teams to deliver solutions that address customer needs.

Sales Pipeline Management – You will manage a healthy sales pipeline by identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and tracking deals through the sales process. You will forecast pipeline activity, maintain accurate sales records, and work systematically to advance opportunities toward closure.

Deal Closing and Negotiation – You will negotiate and close sales deals by presenting solutions, addressing client concerns, and finalizing agreements. You will work collaboratively with sales support teams, manage deal logistics, and ensure successful contract execution.

Territory and Account Planning – You will develop territory and account plans that outline sales strategy, identify target accounts, and establish sales objectives. You will analyze market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform planning.

New Customer Acquisition – You will acquire new customers by prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing new business. You will utilize various sales channels, leverage referrals, and implement prospecting strategies to generate new revenue.

Solution Selling and Consultation – You will engage in solution selling by understanding customer challenges, presenting relevant Comforte AG solutions, and positioning value propositions. You will conduct business consultations, identify customer pain points, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Technical Product Knowledge – You will develop deep knowledge of Comforte AG solutions including data security, tokenization, and payment solutions. You will understand technical capabilities, competitive advantages, and use cases applicable to customer environments.

Customer Needs Assessment – You will conduct thorough customer needs assessments by asking probing questions, understanding business objectives, and identifying technical requirements. You will analyze customer situations and align Comforte AG solutions to address identified needs.

Proposal Development and Presentation – You will develop sales proposals that articulate value propositions, outline solutions, and justify pricing. You will present proposals compellingly to decision-makers, address questions, and work toward agreement.

Key Stakeholder Engagement – You will engage with key stakeholder groups including IT directors, security officers, CFOs, and business leaders. You should understand different stakeholder perspectives and address concerns relevant to each stakeholder group.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting – You will maintain accurate sales forecasts by updating pipeline data, estimating probability of close, and communicating forecast predictions. You will prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status.

CRM System Management – You will utilize customer relationship management systems to organize account information, track sales activities, manage contacts, and maintain sales records. You should keep CRM data current and accurate to support team visibility and forecasting.

Remote Collaboration and Communication – You will effectively collaborate with geographically distributed team members, sales support, and management using digital communication tools, video conferencing, and collaboration platforms. You will maintain regular communication and ensure team alignment across time zones.
