Role Overview – Impronics is hiring a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience to join our remote team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cloud infrastructure projects while enjoying the flexibility of working from anywhere.

AWS Cloud Expertise – You will design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and other core AWS services. Deep knowledge of AWS architecture, best practices, and cost optimization strategies is essential.

Infrastructure as Code – Building and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK will be a key responsibility. Automating infrastructure provisioning and ensuring consistency across environments is crucial.

CI/CD Pipeline Management – Designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar platforms. Ensuring automated testing, deployment, and delivery of applications with minimal manual intervention.

Container Orchestration – Working with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS for container orchestration. Managing containerized applications, implementing microservices architecture, and ensuring scalability and reliability of container workloads.

Monitoring and Performance – Implementing comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools. Analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies to ensure high availability and reliability.

Security and Compliance – Implementing AWS security best practices including IAM policies, security groups, VPC configurations, encryption, and compliance with industry standards. Ensuring infrastructure security and protecting against vulnerabilities and threats.

Automation and Scripting – Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of routine tasks and infrastructure management. Developing tools and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual operations.

Collaboration and Leadership – Working closely with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Providing technical guidance, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to DevOps best practices across the organization.

Experience Required – A minimum of 6+ years of proven experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices is mandatory. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, automation tools, and DevOps methodologies is essential for success in this senior role.
