Role Overview – SoluLab is hiring a Senior Backend Developer for a full-time, remote position serving USA-based clients and operations. This position is ideal for experienced software engineers with strong backend development expertise, system architecture knowledge, and the ability to design scalable backend solutions effectively, lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, ensure code quality, optimize performance, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic technology and software solutions organization.

Backend Architecture and System Design – You will design backend systems by analyzing requirements, designing architectures, and creating technical specifications. You will architect scalable solutions, document design decisions, and ensure architectural best practices. You will design systems supporting business requirements and technical constraints.

API Development and Design – You will develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs by designing API specifications, implementing endpoints, and creating comprehensive documentation. You will design intuitive APIs, support multiple client types, and ensure API reliability. You should design and implement production-quality APIs.

Database Design and Optimization – You will design and optimize databases by creating schemas, implementing indexes, and optimizing queries. You will manage database performance, support scaling, and ensure data integrity. You should demonstrate advanced database expertise.

Microservices Architecture Implementation – You will implement microservices by designing service boundaries, implementing services, and establishing service communication. You will manage service deployment, coordinate service interactions, and support microservices governance. You should understand microservices patterns and best practices.
