Role Overview – Timus Consulting Services is hiring a Senior Business Analyst with 9+ years of experience including networking expertise for a contract-to-hire (C2H) remote position. Complex Project Management – You will work on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies, requiring sophisticated coordination and analytical capabilities. Your responsibilities include understanding intricate project landscapes, managing interdependencies, navigating complexity, ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, and delivering business analysis that supports successful project outcomes despite challenging circumstances.

Business Requirements Analysis – You will gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements for networking and CPE-related projects. Your analysis work involves conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating requirements workshops, creating detailed documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management – You will manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across different organizational levels and functions. Strong stakeholder management involves understanding diverse perspectives, building consensus, managing expectations, communicating effectively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring all stakeholder needs are appropriately considered and addressed in project solutions.

Technical Analysis and Solutions – You will leverage your networking and CPE technical knowledge to analyze technical requirements, evaluate solution options, and bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Your technical understanding enables you to communicate credibly with technical teams, validate feasibility, and ensure proposed solutions effectively address business problems.

Requirements Traceability and Documentation – You will maintain comprehensive requirements documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle. This includes creating and updating requirements artifacts, managing changes, ensuring traceability from business needs through to implementation and testing, and maintaining documentation quality that supports effective project execution.

Technical Skills – Strong technical skills are required to understand networking technologies, evaluate technical solutions, communicate with technical teams, and bridge the gap between business and technology effectively. Your technical acumen enables you to perform business analysis in technically complex environments.

Communication Skills – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for creating clear documentation, facilitating workshops, presenting to stakeholders, and ensuring effective information flow across project teams and organizational boundaries.

Analytical Skills – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important for decomposing complex business problems, identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives, and developing requirements that lead to effective solutions.
