Role Overview – Kerner Norland is hiring a Senior Cloud & AI Infrastructure Sales Specialist with 8 to 15 years of enterprise B2B tech sales experience for a remote, quota-carrying position. This role is ideal for high-performing enterprise sales professionals who can drive new business across AI, Generative AI, and GPU-accelerated cloud solutions built on Google Cloud Platform and NVIDIA technologies, leading complex solution sales for large-scale AI and digital transformation initiatives.
Enterprise Revenue Generation – You will drive new enterprise revenue for AI/ML and cloud infrastructure solutions by identifying opportunities, prospecting target accounts, positioning offerings strategically, and closing deals that bring net-new enterprise customers to the organization and generate significant revenue growth.
End-to-End Sales Cycle Ownership – You will own end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting through closure, managing complex enterprise sales processes, coordinating internal resources, navigating organizational structures, addressing stakeholder concerns, and driving deals to successful conclusion.
Executive Engagement – You will engage CXO, CIO, CTO, and AI leaders on Generative AI and cloud modernization strategies. Your executive-level engagement involves articulating strategic value, aligning solutions with business objectives, building trusted advisor relationships, and influencing technology decisions at the highest organizational levels.
Solution Positioning – You will position Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and NVIDIA solutions with clear business value and ROI. Your solution positioning goes beyond technical features to demonstrate tangible business outcomes, competitive advantages, and financial returns that justify enterprise investments.
Pipeline Building and Account Strategy – You will build strong pipelines and execute strategic account penetration by identifying high-potential accounts, developing account plans, nurturing relationships, creating multiple engagement points, and systematically advancing opportunities through sales stages.
Complex Deal Management – You will manage complex cloud, AI, and infrastructure deals involving multiple stakeholders, technical evaluation processes, procurement cycles, and competitive dynamics. Your deal management skills navigate complexity and drive successful outcomes.
Consultative Selling – You will employ consultative, solution-led selling approaches that focus on understanding business challenges, co-creating solutions, demonstrating value, and positioning technology as enablers of business transformation rather than simply selling products.
Enterprise Sales Experience – 8 to 15 years of enterprise B2B tech sales experience is required. Your substantial experience demonstrates deep expertise in complex sales, enterprise buying processes, and proven ability to win significant technology deals.
Cloud and AI Deal Success – Proven success closing complex cloud, AI, or infrastructure deals is essential. You should have a track record of winning competitive enterprise opportunities involving sophisticated technology solutions and substantial contract values.
AI and Cloud Transformation Understanding – Strong understanding of AI/GenAI and cloud transformation is required. You must comprehend how these technologies drive business value, understand use cases, speak credibly about capabilities, and position solutions strategically.
Quota Achievement Track Record – Track record of meeting or exceeding quotas is essential. Consistent quota achievement demonstrates sales effectiveness, resilience, work ethic, and ability to deliver results in competitive enterprise markets.
Senior Stakeholder Engagement – Experience engaging senior stakeholders including C-level executives is required. You should be comfortable presenting to senior leadership, discussing strategic initiatives, and influencing high-level technology decisions.
GCP Sales Experience (Preferred) – Google Cloud Platform sales experience is preferred. Familiarity with GCP services, ecosystem, partner programs, and competitive positioning provides valuable context for this role.
NVIDIA GPU/AI Infrastructure Exposure (Preferred) – NVIDIA GPU or AI infrastructure exposure is preferred. Understanding GPU-accelerated computing, AI infrastructure, and NVIDIA technologies strengthens your ability to position these solutions effectively.
Consultative Selling Background (Preferred) – Consultative, solution-led selling background is preferred. Experience with value-based, consultative approaches rather than transactional selling aligns with the complex, strategic nature of these sales.
Communication Skills – Excellent communication skills for engaging with enterprise stakeholders, presenting complex solutions, articulating value propositions, and navigating organizational politics are crucial for success.
