Job Description
Role Overview – MSYS Inc is hiring a Senior Manhattan MIF (Manhattan Integration Framework) professional for a fully remote, work-from-home position based in the United Arab Emirates. This position is ideal for experienced supply chain technology professionals with deep Manhattan Associates expertise, integration framework capabilities, and the ability to design, develop, and implement Manhattan MIF solutions for warehouse management, distribution, and supply chain operations.
Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF) Development – You will develop and configure Manhattan Integration Framework solutions by building integration flows, designing data mappings, creating transformation logic, implementing business rules, developing custom integrations, and ensuring seamless data exchange between Manhattan WMS/OMS/TMS and external systems.
System Integration and Middleware Design – You will design and implement system integrations by connecting Manhattan Associates platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards), e-commerce platforms, carrier systems, 3PL systems, customer systems, and other enterprise applications using MIF framework, web services, APIs, and middleware technologies.
Technical Architecture and Solution Design – You will design technical architecture and solutions by defining integration patterns, creating technical specifications, designing scalable integration frameworks, establishing data flow architectures, recommending best practices, and ensuring robust, maintainable integration solutions.
Manhattan WMS/OMS/TMS Configuration – You will configure Manhattan Associates applications including Manhattan Active WMS, Manhattan SCALE, Manhattan OMS (Order Management System), Manhattan TMS (Transportation Management System), or other Manhattan solutions, implementing business logic, workflows, and configurations that support supply chain operations.
Interface Development and Data Exchange – You will develop interfaces and manage data exchange by creating inbound and outbound interfaces, implementing EDI integrations, building real-time and batch interfaces, managing file transfers (FTP, SFTP), implementing message queuing, and ensuring reliable, accurate data synchronization across systems.
Custom Development and Scripting – You will perform custom development and scripting by writing Java code, PL/SQL procedures, shell scripts, or other programming languages to extend Manhattan functionality, implement business logic, automate processes, develop custom reports, and create specialized integrations.
Testing and Quality Assurance – You will conduct testing and ensure quality by developing test plans, performing unit testing, executing integration testing, conducting system testing, troubleshooting defects, coordinating UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensuring solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
Performance Optimization and Tuning – You will optimize performance and tune systems by analyzing integration performance, identifying bottlenecks, optimizing data flows, tuning database queries, improving processing speed, reducing latency, and ensuring integrations handle production volumes efficiently.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution – You will troubleshoot integration issues by investigating errors and failures, analyzing logs and trace files, debugging code, identifying root causes, implementing fixes, coordinating with Manhattan support, and ensuring rapid resolution of production incidents.
Documentation and Technical Specifications – You will create documentation and technical specifications by preparing design documents, interface specifications, data mapping documents, technical runbooks, deployment guides, troubleshooting guides, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for integrations and configurations.
Client Engagement and Requirements Gathering – You will engage with clients and gather requirements by conducting discovery sessions, understanding business processes and integration needs, translating business requirements into technical designs, providing expert recommendations, and ensuring solutions meet client objectives.
Implementation and Deployment – You will manage implementation and deployment by coordinating development activities, conducting code reviews, managing version control, preparing deployment packages, executing deployments, coordinating go-lives, and ensuring successful implementation of Manhattan solutions.
Project Leadership and Mentorship – You will provide project leadership and mentorship by leading integration workstreams, coordinating with technical teams, mentoring junior developers, establishing development standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
Stakeholder Communication and Coordination – You will communicate with stakeholders by providing status updates, presenting technical solutions, coordinating with project managers, business analysts, functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and clients, and ensuring effective collaboration across project teams.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices – You will drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization, recommending automation, implementing best practices, staying current with Manhattan product updates and features, and enhancing integration frameworks and methodologies.
