This is a role for an engineer who has spent six or more years writing production-level Python code and who now wants to work at the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence. You will be building real-world products that leverage machine learning and large language models, working alongside a team of engineers who value clean code, sound architecture, and thoughtful problem-solving. The work is varied, the standards are high, and the impact is tangible.

Your day-to-day will involve designing and implementing scalable solutions, integrating ML models into production systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that make a difference. You will work with cloud infrastructure—AWS, GCP, or Azure—and containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality, testing, and deployment processes. Experience with CI/CD and MLOps is a plus, but a solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals is non-negotiable.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with TypeScript or NodeJS alongside Python, and has a proven track record of working with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn. You understand how to take a model from notebook to production, and you know what it takes to make it reliable at scale. Your communication skills in English are excellent, because you will be working with a remote, international team that spans Australia and Southeast Asia.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates across Southeast Asia, with working hours aligned to Vietnam time (9 AM – 6 PM).
