Role Overview – Truelancer is looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API automation testing. This remote position is specifically for candidates based in North India who can communicate effectively in Hindi and bring 7+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.

Core Expertise Required – The candidate must have 7+ years of proven experience in QA Automation with strong proficiency in Java programming language. Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation testing is essential, along with solid expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and Postman for comprehensive test coverage.

Automation Skills – Strong experience in automation scripting for both UI and API testing is required. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks, creating robust test scripts, and ensuring high-quality test coverage across web applications and APIs.

Problem-Solving Abilities – Excellent logic building and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently on complex testing scenarios, identify edge cases, and develop effective automation strategies without constant supervision.

Technical Testing Focus – You will work on automating functional, regression, and integration tests for both frontend and backend systems. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management is essential for delivering quality assurance excellence.

Language and Location Requirements – The ability to communicate effectively in Hindi is mandatory for this position. Candidates must be based in North India as regional presence and language proficiency are important for team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
