Premiere Cinemas, one of Egypt's leading cinema groups and a subsidiary of the iconic Misr International Films, is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who understands that tax compliance is not just a back-office function. It is a critical part of keeping a business running smoothly .

This is a senior role for a tax professional with at least seven years of experience, particularly in dealing with the Egyptian Tax Authority. You will be responsible for managing various types of tax inspections, preparing inspection files, reconciliations, and supporting documents, and responding to inquiries from the Tax Authority. You will handle VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Tax, and Payroll Tax, with practical experience in E-Invoicing and E-Receipt requirements. You will also prepare and submit tax returns, review purchase and sales invoices for proper tax treatment, prepare WHT certificates, and coordinate with external audit firms. Your ability to reconcile tax accounts with the General Ledger and resolve discrepancies will be essential.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and has a minimum of seven years of experience in taxation. You have strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and practical experience with tax inspections and the Egyptian Tax Authority. You are analytical, organized, and an excellent communicator, capable of coordinating with auditors and tax authorities. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple deadlines without losing accuracy.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
