Role Overview – Comit Solution is hiring a SharePoint Lead with 10+ years of experience for a 6-month (extendable) remote contract working UK time zone. This position is ideal for experienced SharePoint professionals who can define farm topology for investor portals, plan complex migrations to Azure-hosted infrastructure, and oversee testing and validation to ensure seamless functionality and investor access post-migration.

Farm Topology Design – You will define farm topology for the IR (Investor Relations) Portal, ensuring compatibility with Azure-hosted infrastructure and external authentication mechanisms such as AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) or Azure AD B2C. Your topology design establishes the technical foundation, architecture, scalability, and security framework for the investor portal environment.

Migration Planning – You will plan comprehensive migration steps for content databases, service applications, and custom investor portal components from existing SharePoint environments to Azure-hosted infrastructure. Your migration planning includes sequencing activities, identifying dependencies, assessing risks, defining rollback procedures, and creating detailed migration runbooks that guide successful execution.

Azure Integration – You will ensure seamless integration with Azure-hosted infrastructure including Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, networking configurations, and cloud services. Your Azure expertise enables you to leverage cloud capabilities while maintaining portal performance, security, and reliability.

External Authentication Configuration – You will configure and validate external authentication using AD FS or Azure AD B2C to enable secure investor access. Your authentication expertise ensures investors can access the portal securely while maintaining proper identity management, single sign-on capabilities, and compliance with security requirements.

Custom Component Migration – You will oversee migration of custom investor portal components including web parts, workflows, customizations, integrations, and investor-specific functionality. Ensuring these custom elements function correctly post-migration is critical for investor portal usability and business continuity.

Remote Work Capability – The ability to work effectively remotely while collaborating across time zones is required. You should be self-directed, organized, and capable of managing complex technical projects in a distributed work environment.

UK Time Zone Availability – Availability to work UK time zone hours is required for this remote position, enabling effective collaboration with UK-based stakeholders and alignment with project schedules.
