Job Description

Role Overview – Brains Hub is looking for a creative and results-focused Social Media Specialist to manage and strengthen the company’s presence across social media platforms. The role combines content planning, audience engagement, trend awareness, and performance analysis to create a consistent and engaging online presence. The successful candidate will work remotely while collaborating with the wider team to turn ideas and business objectives into effective social media content.

Social Media Management – Manage day-to-day social media activities across relevant platforms, ensuring accounts remain active, professional, consistent, and aligned with the company’s overall communication style.

Content Planning – Develop and maintain practical content calendars covering campaigns, promotional content, educational posts, company updates, and audience-focused material.

Content Creation – Create engaging social media copy and coordinate visual content that captures attention while communicating the intended message clearly and professionally.

Brand Voice & Consistency – Maintain a consistent tone, visual direction, and messaging style across social media channels. Ensure published content reflects the company’s identity and communicates professionally with its audience.

Trend Monitoring – Keep up with relevant social media trends, formats, topics, and platform developments. Identify opportunities to use timely ideas while keeping content relevant to the brand.

Audience Engagement – Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and other interactions. Respond professionally where appropriate and help build meaningful relationships with the online community.

Campaign Coordination – Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, promotional activities, and special initiatives. Coordinate content and publishing schedules to keep campaigns organized.

Platform Optimization – Adapt content according to the strengths and audience behavior of different social platforms rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Performance Analysis – Track important social media metrics such as reach, engagement, audience growth, impressions, and content performance. Use insights to identify what is working and where improvements can be made.

Reporting & Insights – Prepare clear social media performance updates and highlight useful trends, successful content, areas of concern, and opportunities for future campaigns.

Community Growth – Support initiatives designed to increase audience engagement and build a stronger, more active social media community around the brand.

Creative Collaboration – Work with designers, marketing team members, and other colleagues to develop content concepts and campaigns that are visually appealing, relevant, and aligned with business goals.

Content Scheduling – Organize and schedule approved content in advance where appropriate, ensuring posts are published accurately and according to the planned calendar.

Social Media Research – Research competitors, industry conversations, audience interests, and emerging content opportunities to help keep the company’s social presence fresh and competitive.

Campaign Improvement – Review the performance of previous content and campaigns and use practical insights to improve future creative ideas, publishing strategies, and audience engagement.

Remote Collaboration – Communicate effectively with team members in a remote working environment, provide regular updates, manage assigned tasks independently, and meet agreed deadlines.
