Laravel is looking for a Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between technical discovery and business value for Laravel Cloud, the company's fully managed platform-as-a-service built for deploying and scaling Laravel applications. As the world's most popular PHP framework with over 81,000 active production domains and a community spanning developers at companies including Capgemini, PwC, HSBC, Nike, and SAP, Laravel is building something that matters deeply to millions of developers worldwide. This is an early hire in a high-ownership, high-visibility role where you will help define the technical go-to-market strategy for Laravel Cloud, partnering directly with the sales team to architect solutions that solve complex infrastructure challenges for prospective customers.

In this role, you will accelerate the sales motion by leading the technical charge to win new business, running discovery sessions with CTOs, mapping complex application ecosystems and hosting needs to the Laravel Cloud platform, and delivering high-fidelity solution designs and estimates. You will serve as a technical authority, demonstrating through demos and architecture deep-dives how Laravel Cloud handles performance and security at scale, winning the respect of engineering teams by solving for their hardest requirements. You will lead evaluations and production pilots from provisioning trial environments and benchmarking data through to coaching customer teams for a seamless production rollout. You will guide the buying journey by translating technical success into business ROI for leadership, managing security reviews and procurement hurdles while keeping the commercial and technical threads aligned with your Account Executive. Beyond individual deals, you will turn field insights into actionable product feedback, represent Laravel in the community by speaking at events and writing technical content, and build the tools and processes that will scale sales operations as the business grows.

The ideal candidate brings practical engineering experience having built and shipped production applications, navigated AWS, and developed a genuine understanding of deployment pipelines and API design. You possess strong cloud fluency spanning networking, high availability, and database tuning, and you can whiteboard a complex system or review a prospect's code live with composure and credibility. You listen first, handle objections with ease, and can explain technical concepts to any stakeholder from developer to finance. A partner mindset that prioritises long-term customer value over simply closing deals, team-oriented instincts, and startup agility are all essential. Willingness to travel to meet customers or attend conferences as Laravel grows is also expected.
