Role Overview – eSpark Consulting Group is hiring a UI UX Designer with 2 years of experience for a full-time remote position. This role is ideal for design professionals who are passionate about creating intuitive, engaging user experiences and can translate user research insights into effective design solutions for web and mobile applications.

User Research and Insights – You will conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, pain points, and preferences, then translate these insights into effective design solutions. Your research activities include user interviews, surveys, usability testing, competitive analysis, and creating user personas and journey maps that inform design decisions and ensure solutions are user-centered.

Wireframing and Prototyping – You will create wireframes, prototypes, and intuitive user flows that visualize design concepts and demonstrate user interactions. Your wireframes and prototypes should effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders, enable early testing and feedback, iterate based on input, and guide development teams in implementing user interfaces accurately.

Interface Design – You will design engaging web and mobile interfaces that are visually appealing, functionally effective, and aligned with brand guidelines. Your interface designs should prioritize usability, accessibility, aesthetic appeal, and create seamless experiences across different devices and platforms while maintaining consistency throughout the user journey.

Team Collaboration – You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine and improve user experience. Effective collaboration involves presenting design rationale, incorporating feedback constructively, balancing user needs with business objectives and technical constraints, and ensuring designs are implemented as intended.

Design Iteration – You will continuously refine designs based on user feedback, analytics, usability testing results, and stakeholder input. An iterative approach to design ensures solutions evolve to better meet user needs, address usability issues, and optimize the overall user experience over time.

UI UX Fundamentals – Strong UI UX fundamentals are essential. You must demonstrate solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, accessibility standards, and how these elements combine to create effective user experiences.

Design Tool Proficiency – Experience with Figma or Adobe XD is required. You should be proficient in using these industry-standard design tools to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, design systems, and collaborate with team members effectively through shared design files and version control.

Web and Mobile Design Expertise – Expertise in both web and mobile design is mandatory. You must understand the unique considerations, constraints, and best practices for designing responsive websites and native or hybrid mobile applications, including different screen sizes, interaction patterns, and platform-specific guidelines.

Portfolio Requirement – A solid portfolio showcasing previous work is essential. Your portfolio should demonstrate your design process, problem-solving approach, range of projects, quality of visual design, understanding of user experience principles, and the impact of your work on user satisfaction and business outcomes.

Communication Skills – Strong communication skills are important for presenting design concepts, explaining design rationale, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders across remote work environments.
