Job Description

Aquent Australia is looking for a commercially driven, high-billing Senior Talent Agent and Market Builder to run an autonomous, three-hundred-and-sixty-degree remote desk focused on Marketing, Creative, Digital, Technology, and AI Orchestration talent across Australia. As the award-winning global leader in marketing, design, and technology recruitment with over 30 years of history and the world's largest specialist network in this space, Aquent offers the brand, the tools, and the market presence to back a top-billing consultant who is ready to operate without limits. If you are a high performer who is tired of static job descriptions, archaic KPI tracking, and rigid geographic boundaries, this role was built for you.

In this role, you will build your own market by proactively scanning the Australian landscape for organisational pivots, digital transformation programmes, and AI initiatives to unlock exclusive contract, freelance, and permanent talent solutions before briefs even exist. You will consult at the C-suite level, partnering with Marketing Directors, CTOs, and HR executives to audit, map, and secure hybrid talent capable of steering business strategy. You will drive full three-sixty delivery, owning the end-to-end process from cultivating lasting client partnerships to engaging top-tier marketing, design, and digital technology professionals. Positioning yourself as the go-to specialist in emerging niches such as AI Product Management, UX and CX Design, Data Analytics, or Generative AI Engineering will define your market impact.

The ideal candidate brings three or more years of agency recruitment or business development experience in Australia, with a documented history of consistently exceeding targets and hitting high-value billings. You are commercially curious, staying ahead of industry shifts and macro-economic developments to spot hiring needs before your competitors do. Excellent consultative selling skills, the gravitas to influence senior enterprise stakeholders, and a fully self-directed, resilient approach to remote work are all essential. You treat your desk like a business and know how to ask the questions others miss.

Aquent Australia offers true remote and flexible work practices with zero micromanagement, a monthly Work Tech Cheque for remote expenses, unlimited paid time off plus five additional festive season days, an uncapped and transparent commission structure, an $8,000 annual Employee Learning Fund for external courses or certifications, access to industry-leading proprietary technology and predictive data tools, and a genuinely collaborative, high-performance national team culture.

Apply Now:
To apply, share your CV to jgottlieb@aquent.com for a confidential discussion.
When submitting your application, ensure your CV clearly highlights your billing history and track record in Australian agency recruitment, the niches and seniority levels you have recruited for, and your experience engaging C-suite and senior enterprise stakeholders. Your cover letter should explain why you are drawn to the Senior Talent Agent role at Aquent Australia and demonstrate your commercial curiosity and market-building mindset. All enquiries are handled with complete discretion. Feel free to forward this opportunity to anyone in your network who may be a strong fit.
